Past Is Forever

Shadows of my past reemerge,
Their chains no longer bind them.
The evil darkened world they once occupied,
No longer their boundary,
Has allowed them to invade my world.
The world I escaped to long ago.
These shadows threaten my life as it now is,
They promise to pull me back to the depths of despair.
To the world I fled,
The life I once had.
My old ways were forever gone,
